The Colonnade Hotel Offers Chilly Boston Travelers Rates to Warm Up to As Frosty Fridays Returns
First night rate matches temperature (the colder the better!) and negative temps yield voucher for Brasserie JO
According to the Farmer’s Almanac, temperatures are expected to be much lower than last year's unseasonably warm winter, and as Dec. 21 marks the official first day of the snowy season, The Colonnade Hotel in Boston welcomes the return of Frosty Fridays. This offer has become an annual winter delight for visitors from near and far who are seeking a retreat to experience the best of Boston. The two-night package affords guests a first-night rate according to the temperature at 5:00 p.m. on Friday as measured by the National Weather Service. For example, if the temperature reads 20 degrees, guests will pay $20 for their Friday night stay and a special rate of $309 for Saturday night--and if temperatures fall below zero, the first night is on the house. This year, The Colonnade is offering an added treat--if temperatures drop into the negatives, guests will receive a voucher to the hotel's authentic French brasserie, Brasserie JO to match the amount (-10° F equals a $10 voucher!)
Frosty Fridays includes:
- A Deluxe double occupancy guestroom
- The choice of two tickets to either the Old Town Trolley Tour or admission and skating rentals at The Boston Common Frog Pond Skating Rink
- Hot Chocolate for two at Brasserie JO
- Overnight parking
Package is based on a two-night stay and subject to applicable taxes and availability. Guests are advised to check the Farmers’ Almanac and make their reservations early. For reservations, please call 1 (800) 962-3030.
