Plates of roasted vegetables draw your eye to the front window and the accompanying aromas will lure you in and you can not resist! Artu Rosticceria and Trattoria commits itself to offer quality food, good service and an Italian experience. Our commitment is the reason why Artu is a neighborhood favorite and a good stop for Freedom Trail walkers. The best appetizer is a sampler of the gorgeous roasted vegetables you saw from the window and our entree selection consists of superb roasted meats or bounteous home- style pasta dishes. Our roast lamb, "penne alla puttanesca" and chicken stuffed with ham and cheese are all terrific. The Panini we serve are big in size and flavor, such as the classic prosciutto, mozzarella and tomato is sublime and our chicken parmigiana is tender and filling. Originally a little take out place, Artu now fills three storefronts, one of which holds a marble-topped bar. It isn't a great place for a quiet conversation, especially during dinner in the noisy main room, but do you really want to talk with your mouth full?
