Overview
The Museum of the National Center of Afro American Artists (NCAAA) celebrates the visual arts heritage of African cultures and the African diaspora worldwide. The Museum presents a wide range of historical and contemporary exhibitions in many media, including painting, sculpture, graphics, photography and decorative arts. The Museum offers changing exhibitions of contemporary and historical African, Afro-American and Caribbean art throughout the year as well as permanent exhibitions. Visit Aspelta: A Nubian King's Burial Chamber featuring 60 objects from Aspelta's Tomb. The Music Division produces and performs Black Nativity and a new theatrical presentation of Nubian history.
