Located in Boston’s historic Theater District, Bijou is one of Boston’s newest nightlife venues. Just like its namesake, the Boston Bijou Theater, which opened in 1882 as the first American playhouse lit entirely by electricity, Bijou will light up your night. As the city lights go down, our music is turned up with DJs spinning top 40 and house music over our state of the art sound system. Our two beautifully decorated rooms featuring custom led lighting create the perfect backdrop for an electrifying evening. Bijou is also a perfect venue for private parties and events. Located in Boston’s historic Theater District, Bijou is the perfect setting for many occasions such as cocktail receptions, holiday parties, charity galas, product launches, annual meetings, and corporate gatherings. Bijou features two beautiful event spaces; the Onyx Room and the Gold Room. The Onyx Room features three bars and can accommodate up to 345 guests. The Gold Room features a central island bar and can accommodate up to 280 guests. We offer a catering menu including stationary platters, hot and cold passed hors d’oeuvres, chef manned stations and desserts.
