GHOSTS AND GRAVESTONES OF BOSTON

Overview
Step aboard the trolley of the doomed and join your host, a 17th Century grave digger, cursed with a sentence of eternal damnation. Hear about Boston's most sinister characters, from the Angel of Death to the king of all killers, the Boston Strangler. Learn about all the haunts that call the "Hub" their home. But that's not all! Step inside two of the oldest burying grounds in Boston proper for a walking tour you will never forget. Learn the significance of much of the imagery found in these 17th century burial grounds and the famous and not so famous (but even more interesting) occupants therein. Visit the Copp's Hill Burying Ground in the North End, nestled atop the tallest point in one of Boston's oldest historic districts. Here you will visit the final resting place of Cotton Mather, a man famous for his "intimate" involvement with the Salem Witch Trials. Then to the Granary Burying Ground where you will visit the final resting places of many of the most famous heroes of the American Revolution including John Hancock, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams.

Ghosts & Gravestones is an excellent addition to the itinerary of groups traveling to Boston. Our trolleys take guests on a ninety-minute, highly interactive, half-riding/half-walking tour of Boston’s famous haunted places, murder sites and graveyards. Each tour is guided by your own personal gravedigger who tells you the tales of Boston sordid past (Including the stories of The Boston Strangler and The Omni Parker House, Boston’s most haunted hotel) and takes you off the trolley where you venture into two of Boston’s oldest burial grounds.

Ghosts & Gravestones can accommodate groups of any size and the tour has several features which can be customized for your group. Regularly, Ghosts & Gravestones tours run in the evening (7:00pm, 8:00pm, and 9:00pm), but our group tours can accommodate any time between 10am and 10pm. Tour content is considered PG-13 and, Due to the nature of our subject material, is not appropriate for small children (We recommend this tour for adult and high school groups).

Located on the Boston Waterfront (near Boston’s Historic North End, Faneuil Hall, The New England Aquarium, The Hard Rock Café and many other popular restaurants and attractions) Ghosts & Gravestones is an exciting, scary and unique alternative to taking your average tour of Boston. Come spend an evening with the dead at Ghosts & Gravestones and have an experience you’re group will never forget.
