Back to Listings
Boston Urban Adventures offers uniquely themed walking tours, guided by a local. We are currently running three different tours for the upcoming season. "Pizza Tour of Boston's Little Italy" - take a walk through Pizza history as you explore the quaint cobblestone backstreets of Boston's oldest neighborhood - the North End. Learn about the history of Pizza and it's roots in Boston as you visit three of the best Pizzeria's in Little Italy, tasting a slice at each location. Along the way hear stories from a neighborhood first settled in 1630, and also see the North End sites along Boston's Freedom Trail. This tour is great fun for the whole Family. At Boston Urban Adventures - We Deliver YOU to the Pizza! "Boston's Revolutionary Tavern Tour" - the seeds of the American Revolution were sewn in the old Taverns of Boston. This walking tour explores Charlestown, the old Blackstone Block, Faneuil Hall & Quincy Market areas while visiting three of Boston's most historic Taverns. From the Puritans through Prohibition, learn 300 years of Tavern history right here in Boston. Enjoy drink samples & snacks at the same Taverns where George Washington, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams once frequented. The Revolution continues with Boston Urban Adventures! "Boston's Not so Puritan Tour" - take a walk on the wild side as you explore the West End & Beacon Hill neighborhoods to learn the seedier side of Boston's history. Hear about "The Taking" - an act by City officials which displaced thousands of West End families from their homes. Get inside the old Charles Street Jailhouse, now a luxury hotel. Visit Boston's last remaining immigrant era synagog to hear the sordid stories of old Beacon Hill. Experience that "B Side" of Boston that only Urban Adventures can provide!
