Discover a world of exceptional elegance and inspiration in architecture, art, interior design and landscapes. The Gilded Age houses of the Newport Mansions are landmarks of a vibrant era. To capture the flavor of that era, the Preservation Society has included the voices, memories and experiences of generations of people who lived and worked in these houses through a series of audio tours of The Breakers, The Elms, Marble House and Rosecliff. Audio tours available in English, French, German and Spanish. Audio tours in Mandarin coming Summer 2013. Tours offered year round with three houses open and decorated for the holidays. Lunch is available at The Elms Carriage House Café seasonally, May through October. Our group tour options range from student field trips, to exclusive pricing for tour operators and meetings planners, to a variety of special events held annually such as The Newport Flower and the Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival, all at discounted rates.
