The Salem Witch Museum brings you back to 1692. Visitors are given a dramatic history lesson using stage sets with life-size figures, lighting and a narration - an overview of the Witch Trials of 1692. Learn about the word witch in, Witches - Evolving Perceptions, a provocative tour which examines the pagan midwife, stereotypical witch, modern witchcraft and the phenomenon of witch hunts. The museum is open daily year-round with presentations every half hour. Extended hours for July and August and October weekends. Translations available in Japanese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese.
