Nix’s Mate is a newly renovated signature restaurant located in the Hilton Boston Downtown/Financial District. The restaurant gains its name from the historic Boston Harbor Island – Nix’s Mate, and plays homage to its namesake with reclaimed wood from the Boston Pier, as well as touches of modern metal influences in a setting that is vibrant and modern. Offering the very best in modern American fare with a seasonal and local influence, the menu is executed by Chef David Nevins, formerly of Todd English’s Olives as well as Neptune Oyster. A stacked quartz and maple bar as well as a casual 30-seat lounge is available for casual appetizers and a seasonal cocktail or two with a focus on fresh local ingredients and creative libations. Private and semi-private dining is also available for intimate meetings or special events, accommodating up to 18 people at once. Each private and semi-private dining spaces feature plasma TVs and independently controlled media stations.
