Close your eyes and imagine strolling down quaint and narrow streets while enjoying colorful sights, tantalizing aromas, and chaotic sounds as your groups get an "insider's view" of two of the most vibrant ethnic neighborhoods in this country, alive with colorful immigrant history and undiscovered "hidden gems". The secret of a cuisine is the high quality of ingredients, a sense of regional tradition and an understanding of the culture. For an outsider, finding the finest is not always easy. Join us on a culinary walking tour of the markets in Boston's "Little Italy" (North End) and/or Chinatown and let us be your passport to unlocking the secrets of the world's healthiest cuisines. Learn how the people of these two cultures eat, glean insider cooking tips and gain resources and knowledge on how to identify and where to buy the very best ingredients. Treat your groups to a feast for the senses and an experience guaranteed to change the way they think about food. Handouts of the stores are provided and depending on which tour you choose, at nearly every stop we'll enjoy small tastes of specific Italian food ingredients or Chinese snacks. You might also want to extend your fun and create a seamless experience by having your clients enjoy a stop before or after the tour for a snack, lunch or dinner. We are happy to assist you in creating a customized tour to meet your group needs and we are proud to share our knowledge and discoveries with you.
