14th Annual WBOS EarthFest in Boston

Boston, MA , (March 1, 2007): 92.9 WBOS has announced that the 14th Annual WBOS EarthFest will be held on May 26th , 2007 from Noon to 6:00 pm at the Hatch Shell in Boston .
Presented by
Whole Foods Market and free to the public, the WBOS EarthFest will be a
celebration
for the Earth showcasing environmentally friendly products, groups, and
activities. The WBOS EarthFest, which is produced in conjunction with the
Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, will also feature an
all-star musical line-up, an interactive family area and more.
"We're very
happy to be able to help raise awareness of environmental issues, as well as
provide a great day of music and entertainment in a free and very
family-friendly environment for the city of Boston,” said WBOS Program Director
David Ginsburg. “This is the 14th WBOS EarthFest, and will be the best yet.
We're the only radio station in
Boston that provides a concert of this size and artists of the caliber we'll
have on May 26th
for free. It's a great feeling."
This year’s line-up will be announced mid-April and will feature a collection of this year’s best artists and musical acts. Past artists have included The Fray, James Blunt, Los Lonely Boys Sheryl Crow and more.
