Iberia Madrid--Boston will provide connecting services from new markets: On May 6, 2007 Iberia will offer new nonstop service Madrid to Boston, five times a week. The new nonstop service will provide a great connection to Boston from Southern European & North African markets such as Lisbon, Lyon, Marrakech, Milan, Palma, Rome, Toulouse, Venice, Oporto, Istanbul, Vienna, Bologna, Athens, Casablanca, La Coruña & Gibraltar which offer nonstop service to Madrid…flyglobespan Glasgow Boston begins May 25, 2007 & flyglobespan Ireland West Boston begins May 30; 2007 virtually all of the United Kingdom & Ireland will now be served non-stops to Boston Logan International Airport. 新しい「サファイア・ネックレス」 :New waterfront modern art museum open, new waterfront Boston HarborWalk, new Spectacle Island Harbor Island , year-round New England Aquarium activity & whale watch tours , and the new harbor tour via “ Codzilla”
The 34-island Boston Harbor & the new mile-long Rose Kennedy Greenway (built over the completed “Big Dig” ) have been joined with a spectacular new four-story all glass waterfront modern art museum (the ICA) , new waterfront walking path called the Boston HarborWalk, the new Spectacle Island Harbor Island, and the new $45 million waterfront addition to the Boston’s Children’s Museum to form what will be called Boston’s new “Sapphire Necklace” . The New England Aquarium, which will celebrate its 40th birthday in 2009, now features its own IMAX theatre, whale watch tours, & special programs such as its new ‘sustainable Seafood dinners’ program. Boston Harbor Cruises, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year is introducing Boston’s newest fun tour “Codzilla”.
One of the world’s great urban parks is being completed in Boston: the mile-long Rose Kennedy Greenway , already includes several miles of new and refurbished sidewalks & numerous plazas, and during this summer will install 600 street lights, nearly 900 trees, complete three major parks & 11 small parks with public art, water features. In the next five years three new museums, & a dedicated all glass Harbor visitor information center.

The “Jacqueline Kennedy Entertains: The Art of The White House Dinner” exhibition at the JFK Library Museum has opened and will continue on display through 2008; “Discovering Chimpanzees: The Remarkable World of Jane Goodall will open June 2-August 28, 2007. This summer the Harbor Island Art Installation. To mark the ICA's first summer at the water's edge, Vita Brevis presents a new multi-artist project in the Boston Harbor Islands National Park Area. The 34 Harbor Islands Park -easily reached daily by fast ferry from downtown Boston -provide an amazing geological, military, and cultural experience for the visitor. The installation by the selected three artists—Ernesto Pujol, Teri Rueb, Anna Schuleit—and one architectural team—Office dA—will be located on Georges, Lovells, and Spectacle harbor islands. Using sculptural installation, performance, and audio narration, the artworks will “evoke the park's complex past while celebrating its natural and cultural importance in the 21st century.” This fall: “Symbols of Power: Napoleon & The Art of the Empire Style” Oct. 21, 2007- Jan. 27, 2008 at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston With a selection of approximately 230 objects—including furniture, silver, porcelain, bronzes, jewelry, textiles, wallpapers, metalwork, and painting—“Symbols of Power”is the first comprehensive survey of the decorative arts of the Empire style, presenting its iconography in virtually every visual medium. “Symbols of Power” features many significant works, including many extraordinary objects that have never been exhibited outside France. Also: In celebration of 250th birthday of Salem's renowned architect the Peabody Essex Museum will present “Samuel McIntire: Carving an American Style".
In 2008: “El Greco to Velázquez: Art during the Reign of Philip III” Sunday, April 20, 2008 - Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Museum of Fine Arts Boston groundbreaking exhibition will feature masterpieces by El Greco and the early paintings of Velázquez .Paintings, sculpture, and decorative arts—including a partial recreation of the camarín of the Duke of Lerma, possibly the most important non-royal collector in Europe at the time and the favorite of Philip III.
4. 2007-2008 ボストンでのコンベンション: The surge of major conventions in Boston continues with two major international convention centers in Boston available for meeting planners - the new Boston Convention & Exhibition Center on the waterfront & the Hynes Convention Center in Boston’s Back Bay. In 2007 the 21,000 -delegate Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) will convene in Boston. In 2008 Boston will host 26 citywide conventions, including the 2008 35,000 AIM On Demand convention, the American Institute of Architects (AIA0 National Science Teachers Association , International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property Of the fifteen (15) citywide conventions forecast a 5,000 + delegate attendance. Liberty Boston Hotel will feature chic lobby “jail” bar & two restaurants
When the Liberty Hotel opens in June, the hotel will offer cocktails in the chic lobby “jail” bar, regional specialties with a creative twist in the hotel’s casual second floor restaurant and bar, & world-class cuisine at hotel’s fine dining restaurant. The new 300-room hotel incorporates the 1851 Charles Street Jail building and a contemporary structure at the foot of Boston’s 19th century Beacon Hill. The jail has major national architectural significance as the prime institutional example of the Boston Granite Style of the mid-19th Century. The north side of the 3-acre site faces the Charles River. ….A new 235-room “W” hotel has been approved for Boston’s Theatre District. Located on Stuart Street adjacent to the Shubert Theatre & opposite the Wilbur & Citi Wang Theatre between Tremont & Warrenton Streets, the $200 million 26- story glass hotel will contain 123 condominium units on the upper floors, restaurant on the ground floor and will feature a spa.
