The 118th Boston Marathon will be held on April 21, 2014, which is Patriots' Day in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This year's field is expanded to 36,000 runners, which is almost 10,000 more runners than last year. Boston Strong!!

The recommended way to get to the start in Hopkinton on race morning is by using the official B.A.A. buses between 6:15 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. The buses pick up on Tremont Street off of Boston Common.
