Community Servings, a leading nonprofit that delivers nutritious, medically tailored meals to the critically ill, will host its annual Mustachio Bashio event on Tuesday, April 1st at City Table in Boston. This mustache-themed party, which brings together hundreds of supporters, will raise money for Community Servings and thank volunteer 'growers' who have cultivated mustachios since mid-February. Guests can enjoy complimentary cocktails, delicious hors d'oeuvres and help the 'stache judge, Jenny Johnson of NECN, pick the best mustaches. To top it all off, gentlemen and ladies who arrive mustachioed will be entered into a special raffle for a chance to win fabulous prizes.
Celebrating all things mustached, Mustachio Bashio has been central in helping Community Servings accomplish its mission to provide nutritious meals for individuals who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves. Each year Community Servings prepares and delivers more than 500,000 medically tailored meals to over 1,800 clients, 93 percent of whom live in poverty.
