Do you like chocolate? Do you ever wonder where chocolate comes from or how it’s made? Come help Mrs. Jackson prepare chocolate by learning to use a winnow basket. Watch with glee while you toss the cocoa beans into the air and separate the cocoa nib from the shell. Then visit Captain Jackson’s Historical Chocolate Shop to discover how those nibs are turned into chocolate and get a taste of colonial drinking chocolate! Activity best suited for ages 5-10 Meet in the Bigelow Courtyard of the Old North Church (rear entrance)
