John and Abigail Adams' 250th Wedding Anniversary Celebration Weekend

Friday, October 24, 11am, The First Church in Weymouth
Reenactment of the wedding of Abigail and John Adams. Admission is free; reservations are highly recommended, seating is limited to capacity. Event will be held rain or shine. The public is invited to wear eighteenth-century attire to the wedding reenactment and reception that follows.Complimentary reception including colonial treats and tours immediately follows at Abigail Adams Birthplace.

Friday, October 24, 7 - 9pm, Abigail Adams Birthplace, Weymouth
Commemorative wedding reception. Admission is $125, $100 for AAHS members; reservations are recommended.

Saturday, October 25, 9 am to noon, The First Church in Weymouth
SYMPOSIUM: Abigail & John: 250 Years Together. Admission is free; reservations are recommended, seating is limited to capacity. Generously co-sponsored by The Adams Papers at the Massachusetts Historical Society

Saturday, October 25, noon, Abigail Adams Birthplace, Weymouth
LUNCHEON: with keynote speaker Edith Gelles. Admission is $25, $20 for AAHS members; reservations are recommended.

Saturday, October 25, 3 pm, Carriage House, Adams National Historical Park
WORLD PREMIERE: James Kallembach's "Songs on Letters of John and Abigail Adams". Admission is free, seating is first come, first served; limited to capacity. Parking is available on Adams Street.

Sunday, October 26, 10 am, The First Church in Weymouth
Celebration of Independence Service. Admission is free, seating is first come, first served; limited to capacity.
