Boston GreenFest 2013 is a fully inclusive festival filled with fun learning experiences to address the important changes we need to make in our daily lives and our neighborhoods. It begins at Boston City Hall Plaza with a Kick-Off Concert on Thursday, August 15, from 5-9:30 pm and continues all day long, Friday-Saturday, August 16-17, from noon-9:30 pm and 11 am-10 pm. New this year! Boston EcoPageant International and hosting the Mayoral EcoForum: Building Boston's Future.

Thursday evening's free Kick-Off Concert at Boston City Hall Plaza starts with a Native American Drum & Dance Ceremony. Words of wisdom and peace by selected clergy from our faith community. Freevolt, winners of the New England Music EcoAward 2013. Check the Performance Schedule. Choose from many eco-friendly world cuisines available on the Plaza at the Local Food Emporium and find a range of unique items at the EcoBazaar. America's Best Dance Crew Winners from Everett, Phunk Phenomenon and Lil' Phunk, will top off the night!

Starting on Friday, all stages are open, including the Family Stage, EcoStage, EcoFashion Stage, and Main Stage. There are small and large acts throughout the day, but some main acts are reserved for the evening. On Saturday, there will be a GreenSoul Stage from Noon-7 pm. Also, there will be a "Spillover Stage" at the Hard Rock Café, every evening when the Main Stage closes until 1:30 am.

Boston GreenFest 2013 brings many opportunities to the heart of our city to learn about green products, services, ideas, networks, and jobs. There will be interactive exhibits, workshops, presentations, and special features: continuous live entertainment on three stages, Boston EcoPageant International, EcoFashion, BostonGreenFilmFest for children and adults, eco-games, One Gallon Challenge - a "race" starting at noon on Thursday, August 15th to see how far 1 gallon of gas takes them and arrive at City Hall throughout the afternoon to be on hand during the entire festival, lots of great kids' activities, great food, and much more.
