Kings, the classic restaurant and entertainment venue that serves up food and fun with a side of nostalgia, launched a cheeseburger into space for the second year in a row the other day as part of its early celebration of National Cheeseburger Day, and now plans to give away free cheeseburgers this Thursday, September 18, on the actual National Cheeseburger Day, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at all Boston area locations.
Kings is credited with having sent the first cheeseburger into Earth's outer orbit last year, but this year was the first time they were able to obtain footage of the entire journey up to 90,000 feet. View the full video here.
