Fall Lectures and Courses at MFA Boston

Tickets are now on sale for lectures and courses at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), this fall. From discussions on burgeoning art cities to evenings spent with leading global artists, the complete schedule of events is available at mfa.org/programs.

The Museum's upcoming slate of programs is headlined by the Ruth and Carl J. Shapiro Celebrity Lectures: Evenings with Creative Minds. Now in its 12th season, the acclaimed series welcomes composer Nico Muhly; architect and designer Daniel Libeskind; social artist Theaster Gates; artist Carrie Mae Weems; filmmaker, artist and writer Miranda July; and television producer Steven Levitan.

This fall also marks the debut of the MFA's newest program: Remix. Designed as a way to socialize, share and engage the senses, events range from a yoga class in the exhibition Pure Souls: The Jain Path to Perfection to a curatorial tour of Goya: Order and Disorder followed by a sampling of Spanish wines and tapas.

Additional lectures on topics as diverse as Jamie Wyeth, Ancient Greek Myth and Opera, music critic Greil Marcus' history of Rock ‘n' Roll, and revolutionary contemporaries Francisco Goya and Ludwig van Beethoven are also available, as well as a variety of courses that offer insights into the MFA's newly renovated Ancient Greek galleries, Goya: Order and Disorder and the Wyeth family.
