Engaging Vessels and Designing Environments

Celebrate poetry in art and nature through the summer exhibitions and the Sculpture Park! Tour the exhibitions, meet local poets, immerse yourself in nature, write your own poetry, and partake in an open mic event. For families and adults, and both amateur and professional writers.

Poetic Ceramics Workshop

This evening workshop led by exhibiting artist Bruce Barry is inspired by works on view in Ian Hamilton Finlay and Language as InspirationParticipate in a creative writing exercise (molded clay tablatures and stones provided), build a communal poetry garden of stepping stones in the Sculpture Park, and create your own language work in clay.

No ceramic experience is necessary. Snacks and drinks provided.
$40 | $30 for Members. Registration is required and tickets are limited.
