Engineering the Human Body
7/11: 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Human beings are no longer limited by the bodies that nature has given them. With recent advancements in prosthetics, wearable technology, and other types of augmentation, we are able to move faster, work harder and smarter, and reach new heights of human ability.
Hear from researchers who are working on prosthetics on the cutting edge and for the developing world, as well as a Paralympic athlete who uses prosthetics himself. Also, experience firsthand how researchers develop tools for human augmentation.
