Join us every weekend in November to experience the traditions of an early 19th-century New England Thanksgiving.
In the early 19th-century, Thanksgiving Day had not yet been set officially as the fourth Thursday of November and the date changed from year to year and even from state to state. In that spirit and to help get everyone in the mood for the ultimate New England holiday, we are offering Thanksgiving programming on every weekend in November.
See How Thanksgiving Food was prepared
Hear Thanksgiving proclamations (Saturdays) and sermons (Sundays) at the Center Meetinghouse
Watch target-shooting matches, a favorite post-dinner pastime of this era
