Founded in 1881, the Boston Symphony Orchestra is the largest orchestral organization in the world, encompassing the Boston Pops and the orchestra's summer home, Tanglewood. A standard bearer of the classical repertoire and one of the key supporters of 20th-Century music, the BSO performs at Symphony Hall from September through May, with concerts most Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings and on Friday afternoons. Complete schedule and ticket information can be found at www.bso.org.

The Boston Pops, known as America's Orchestra, performs light classical favorites & an abundant variety of popular music. The programs range from stirring marches to Broadway melodies, big band hits, Gospel music, and magical movie memories. A cabaret-like atmosphere recalls the glory days of Europe's festive music halls including refreshments from our light Pops menu.
