Robots, holography, photography, current science, and exhibitions blending art, technology and innovation draw visitors from around the world to the MIT Museum at one of the world's premiere universities. No dusty academic enclave, this science and technology museum bursts with creative energy that brings the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's world-renowned research, invention and emerging technologies to life.

Hours: Open Daily 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Closed major holidays.

Admission: Adults: $8.50 Youth under 18, students, seniors: $4 MIT ID holders and children under 5: Free.

Free admission: Sundays 10:00 a.m. - noon, 2nd Friday of month, 5-8 PM, and daily in Compton Gallery, 77 Mass. Ave., and Hart Nautical Gallery, 55 Mass. Ave. 


The MIT Museum also presents the Cambridge Science Festival in April featuring hundreds of free events, talks, performances and family fun.
