Hostelling International USA to Open LEED Registered Hostel in Boston in Time for Summer Tourism Season PDF Print E-mail

With a nod to sustainability and the modern budget traveler, Hostelling International USA (HI-USA) will officially open its new Boston hostel this June as the first LEED certified accommodations in the city. The facility is aiming to be the first LEED Gold hostel in the country. The new hostel will be located in the heart of downtown Boston at the intersection of the midtown cultural district, Theatre District, and Chinatown.

For the third consecutive year, Boston & Cambridge have been named the Top Destination in the United States for International Association Meetings by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).  In 2010, Boston & Cambridge hosted a record number of 43 international meetings (up from 36 the previous year), making it the number one destination for international association meetings in the United States.
