Pharma and Medical Device Conduct Law

Marketing Code of Conduct - ch305 of The Laws of 2008 -
Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturer Conduct

The Massachusetts Public Health Council adopted on Wednesday, March 11, the final rules and regulations regarding the Marketing Code of Conduct - ch 305 of the The Laws of 2008 - Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturer Conduct. These regulations threatened to severely impact our medical meetings business.

The GBCVB is pleased with the overall outcome of the vote and that the council adopted the language proposed by the CVB clarifying sponsorship and events that can be held in hotels, convention centers and special event venues.

We have now moved to the next phase of our campaign to get the word out on these regulations to our customers and members.

  • FAQ's
  • A downloadable guidebook, summarizing for our customers the new regulations/law; showing them how they can comply and how they can utilize corporate sponsors/partners under these new regulations.
