Avila Modern Mediterranean in Boston’s historic Theatre District will celebrate the year’s most romantic day with Corporate Chef Rodney Murillo’s carefully crafted four-course prix fixe tasting menu. Additionally, couples interested in sipping while savoring may opt to have each decadent dish paired with a varietal from Avila’s worldly wine selection. Served alongside Avila’s regular dinner menu, Executive Chef Rodney Murillo’s Prix Fixe Valentine’s Day Tasting Menu will be prepared as follows. For the first course, enjoy Creamy Corn and Crab Meat Soup or Tuna Tartare (ponzu cucumber salad, crispy calamari).
After indulging in your Amuse, move to the second course where you may select from either the Crispy Fried Oysters BLT-style (lemon aioli) or Ricotta Lemon Ravioli (orange butter sauce). Then, move to the third course where you will be given the option of Beef Tenderloin (potato fondant, asparagus, and lobster béarnaise) or Seared Halibut (chanterelle mushrooms, beet gnocchi, creamy fish fumet). To finish off your evening of delectable dining, choose from a special selection of decadent desserts crafted by Avila’s Pastry Chef, Tom Ponticelli.
