This Valentine’s Day, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in Boston will treat lovebirds to a very special four-course prix fixe menu. Corporate Chef Rodney Murillo and Executive Chef Steve Brown have paired a medley of selections, allowing guests to choose from seven antipasti selections, five farinacei courses and seven caserecci. Davio’s special Valentine’s Day menu will be served as follows.

For the first course, guest may select one of the following Antipasti options: Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail (tomato horseradish sauce); Pan-seared Jonah Crab Cake (grain mustard, beurre blanc); Baby Iceberg Salad (Applewood bacon, tomato, onion, croutons, herbed buttermilk dressing); Watercress and Roasted Red Beets Salad (slivered Belgian endive, radicchio, and Green Goddess dressing); Crispy Fried Oysters (baby lettuce, tomato, bacon, house tartar sauce) Philly Cheese Steak Spring Rolls (spicy homemade ketchup, spicy mayo); or, Tuna Tartare (ponzu, cucumber salad, crispy wontons).

Next, for the second course, guests may choose from one of the following “Farinacei” options: Tagliatelle Bolognese (braised veal, beef, pork, tomato sauce); Hand-Rolled Potato Gnocchi (sorrentino, bufala mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes); Fedelini (shrimp, garlic, white wine, hot cherry peppers, olive oil); Lobster Ravioli (grilled leeks, arugula, saffron, lobster brood); or, Davio’s Angel Hair (fresh basil, pomodoro sauce).

For the third course of Caserecci, options are as follows: Amish Free Range Chicken (whipped potatoes, spinach, sugo natural); Grilled Swordfish (celery root puree, agrodolce peppers, crispy oysters); Veal Scaloppini (semolina polenta cake, spicy escarole, crimini marsala sauce); Grilled Center Cut Filet Mignon (crabmeat stuffed shrimp, asparagus, lemon butter); Prime Top Sirloin (horseradish whipped potatoes, asparagus, Great Hill blue cheese); Pan-roasted Lobster (Yukon gold potatoes, haricot vert, lemon tarragon butter sauce); or, Pan Seared Scallops (sweet creamy corn ragout, match stick potatoes). To finish off your phenomenal feast, enjoy an Extra Special Sweetheart dessert!
