We are excited to announce the opening of Happy Feet 2: The IMAX 3D Experience this Friday, December 9 at the Simons IMAX Theatre!

Sharks in 3D
Brace yourself for an in-depth exploration of the oceans' ultimate predators. Come face to face with great white and hammerhead sharks, witness feeding frenzies, and swing alongside the largest fish on earth - the whale shark - all on New England's largest screen.

Born to be Wild
Orphaned orangutans and elephants flourish and return to the wild with the help of inspiring human caregivers in Born to Be Wild 3D, with narrator Morgan Freeman. The film draws viewers into inspiring stories of love and dedication, highlighting the heartwarming bonds between orphaned animals and their human foster mothers.

Let the Simons IMAX Theatre transport you to the lush rainforests of Borneo and the dusty Kenyan savannah to meet the extraordinary people who rescue and raise these wild orphans - saving endangered species one life at a time.

Under the Sea 3D
The new IMAX 3D adventure will transport moviegoers to some of the most exotic and isolated undersea locations on earth, including Southern Australia, New Guinea and others in the Indo-Pacific region, allowing them to experience face-to-face encounters with some of the most mysterious and stunning creatures of the sea. It offers a uniquely inspirational and entertaining way to explore the beauty and natural wonder of the oceans, as well as the impact of global climate change. In IMAX 3D, the images will literally leap off the screen and float around the theatre, putting the audience in the movie. The film is narrated by Jim Carrey and directed by Howard Hall.

Dolphins and Whales 3D: Tribes of the Ocean
Dive into an immersive and highly emotional adventure with Jean-Michel Cousteau's Dolphins and Whales 3D, which will take you from the dazzling coral reefs of the Bahamas to the warm depths of the waters of the exotic Kingdom of Tonga for a close encounter with the surviving tribes of the ocean. Stunning images captured for the very first time in 3D will allow you to discover their lives and habitats as never-before-seen. An unforgettable voyage with these graceful, majestic yet endangered sea creatures, narrated by Daryl Hannah.

Sea Rex 3D: Journey to a Prehistoric World
Swim back in time for an underwater safari through a lost age. Paddle with the majestic creatures that roamed the oceans 200 million years ago. See what they eat, watch them play and hear them bellow. You'll want to duck as they gracefully glide right off the screen into the Simons IMAX Theatre! New England's largest movie screen is your portal to an underwater universe that existed long before the dinosaurs.
