A Walk Into History public walking tour is a great way to experience the Freedom Trail. Led by an
18th Century Costumed Guide, the 90-minute tour mixes humor, history and fun. Be transported back in time to the days of the
American Revolution and have a hands-on revolutionary experience.
The Freedom Trail Foundation offers an array of events throughout the year to enhance people's understanding and appreciation of Revolutionary-era events and personalities. Included are the North End Tour, Pirates and Patriots Tour, and African-American Patriots Tour. The Foundation also works closely with other historic landmarks, such as the Old State House, Old South Meeting House, and Faneuil Hall to bring history to life.
