Prepare to stretch your imagination and allow the whole world of art, music and dance enfold you during the 11th annual Opening Our Doors celebration! Come join the 22 institutions of the Fenway Alliance and 30 community organizations to experience Boston's single largest day of FREE arts, cultural and recreational events. This amazingly wide array of activities includes musical, theatre and dance performances, walking tours, art exhibitions and plenty of create-your-own-art opportunities, films, chalk art, and indoor kite flying!

The Fenway Alliance is the heart of thenewly established Fenway Cultural District (Est. March, 20, 2012), and we welcome everyone to join us as we officially start the day at 10:00 AM on the Christian Science Plaza in Boston, located near the intersection of the Avenue of the Arts (Huntington Ave.) and the Avenue of Music (Mass. Ave.). Specialguest speakers, performances by the Boston Children's Chorus, and Mayor Menino will kick-off the festivities. Please invite your neighbors, friends and family to this wonder-filled and wonderfully fun event!

In the event of rain the Kick-Off celebration will move to the Sunday School Building on the Christian Science Plaza next to Horticultural Hall.
