Don't put away the flip flops & sunscreen just yet! -September in Boston brings its own late summer pleasure & treasures.

Outdoor concerts, festivals and walking tours continue todelight.  You can still whale watch, cruise or kayak the Charles and enjoy a final ride on the Swan Boats before      they hibernate.  The Harbor Islands offer different sunlit, but equally enchanting views. Artisan and farmer markets continue to offer a wonderful array of all things handmade and homegrown .

September‘s calendar is as busy as summer's and this final edition of Summer Selects makes it easy to plan the final days of summer with a sampling of special events and activities.

Next June is a long way off- and winter will eventually be"visiting" us- so make the most of your September visit in Boston!
