Urban Adventours Paul Revere's Ride Bike Tour

The tour departs from Paul Revere Mall at the Old North Church at 7:30pm for the 26 mile ride to Concord. This road paced ride is FREE and open to all but is also UNSUPPORTED. Please bring your bike, helmet, lights and anything else you need to ride for the next 2.5 hours. Urban Adventours

Lexington Green and Concord North Bridge Re-enactments - April 20-21

Each year in mid-April, thousands of people flock to historic Lexington and Concord and Minute Man National Historical Park to celebrate Patriot's Day. Patriot's Day is a special Massachusetts State holiday commemorating the opening battle of the American Revolutionary War, April 19, 1775.  

Liberty Ride - April 19-21

Visit the birthplaces of American liberty and 19th century literature! Board a classic trolley to ride along the historic Battle Road while your costumed guide recounts the exciting events of April 19, 1775 and the literary legacy that defined American identity and culture.  The Liberty Ride departs at 10:00am, 11:30am, 1pm, and 2:30pm from the Lexington Visitors Center at 1875 Massachusetts Avenue. Paul Revere ridePaul Revere Row Re-enactment at the Charlestown Navy Yard
- April 19 7:30pm-9pm

 Come out and welcome Revere to "the opposite shore" and enjoy festivities at the Charlestown Navy Yard. Special activities for children and adults, including colonial games, the reading of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's famous poem "Paul Revere's Ride" and drilling with the Charlestown Militia, will take places at the USS Constitution Museum. Old North Church: 239th Annual Lantern Lighting, Keynote Speaker, Senator Edward Markey - April 19 at 6:30pm

Every year since 1875, on the eve of Patriot's Day, Old North has commemorated the hanging of the lanterns by inviting guests to join a prominent member of the community at the Lantern Ceremony. This year, we are honoring the survivors of last year's marathon bombings and those first responders who so courageously came to their aid. Old North Church

Patriots Day Parade in Lexington
- April 20, 2pm

This year the Patriot's Day Parade will be held on Monday, April 21st starting at 2pm.

Concord Museum - April 20, 9am-5pmconcord museum

 After the Patriots' Day Parade stop by the Concord Museum to hear the Middlesex County 4H Fife & Drum Corps, take part in patriotic crafts for families, and visit with living history re-enactors. Explore the Museum's outstanding collection of treasures from April, 1775 including the famous "one, if by land, two, if by sea" Revere lantern and visit the special exhibition The Shot Heard Round the World: April 19, 1775
From 2pm-3pm there will be a "Shot Heard Round the World" Gallery Talk with Museum curator David Wood.  A Gallery Talk also occurs on April 19 with Wood and militia expert Joel Bohy Concord Museum

Old Sturbridge Village - April 20, 9:30am-5pm

 Patriots' Day observances at Old Sturbridge will resound with the peal of bells, the stirring beat of drums and the thrilling call of the fife, as the Sturbridge Militia musters on the common on Monday, April 21st. Special programs and activities throughout the day will invite visitors to experience the sights and sounds of our colonial ancestors, reacting with hasty alarm to action at Lexington and Concord. Mary Baker Eddy Library - April 20, 10am-4pm

On Marathon Monday, we will be open and free to the public, in support of our city's healing. Visitors will be invited to participate in a suncatcher craft, poetry activities, and invited to contribute to our Transcending Boundaries exhibit by adding their own message of hope for Boston, and the world at large.

Freedom Trail Foundation Tours - Daily, 11am-2pmPaul Revere statue

Learn about the events leading up to the American Revolution with the Freedom Trail Foundation, offering tours at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm leaving from the Visitor's Center on Boston Common.   The Freedom Trail
