This year, Patriots' Day includes a combination of in-person experiences and virtual historical commemorations.

Concord Museum

Celebrate the start of the American Revolution by exploring artifacts in the museum - Admission is free on Patriots' Day.
Virtual: Collection - The Concord Museum will transport you back in time through eye-witness artifacts, including one of the two Lanterns that signaled Paul Revere to begin his ride, and multi-media animations that bring this pivotal moment in our nation’s history to life. Minute Man National Historical Park

At Minute Man National Historical Park the opening battle of the Revolution is brought to life as visitors explore the battlefields and structures associated with April 19, 1775, and witness the American revolutionary spirit through the writings of the Concord authors.

Freedom Trail

The famous Freedom Trail is a 2.5-mile red-brick trail through Boston’s historic neighborhoods that tells the story of the American Revolution and beyond. From the Old North Church to Faneuil Hall, and through resonant burying grounds, visit the temples and landmarks of the Revolutionary Era.

Patriots Day Parade in Lexington 

Patriots’ Day is Lexington Day. The events of that morning in April, 1775 are an integral part of the DNA of our town and have been marked with remembrance since 1776 and with celebration at least since the Centennial in 1875. That year there were so many people who came to see President Grant and the parade that it was difficult to move through the town.

Boston Marathon 

The Boston Marathon is the world's largest annual marathon, will be held on Patriots' Day, April 15, 2024.
