MBTA: Commuter Rail service to South Station, Boston is available on the Middleboro line from the Holbrook/Randolph Rail Station. The MBTA Red Line is accessible in Braintree and Quincy.
Officially incorporated in 1872, Holbrook has developed into a residential community housing many workers that commute to Boston. The small town is home to a beautiful Town Forest, which was named the choice location in Holbrook in 2009 by the Boston Globe. Route 128 and I-495 are easily accessed in Holbrook, as well as Routes 37 and 139 which intersect at the center of town. Andrew Card, former White House Chief of Staff under George W. Bush and Michael Sullivan, former United States Attorney for the District of Massachusetts, both reside in Holbrook.
