The 5th Annual SoWa Winter Festival is fast approaching, with a spectacular and eclectic vendor lineup on display over three days from December 6-8.  The South End features some of the most talented craft artisans in greater Boston, and this festive annual event affords a wonderful opportunity to explore the exemplary work created in this neighborhood and beyond.

Sip on winter libations as you browse the wares and foodie concoctions of 130 craft vendors.  The festival includes two maker marketplaces replete with an array of goods interspersed with ice sculptures, outdoor cocktail bars, and food trucks.  The first day of the festival coincides with one of SoWa’s most engaging programs - SoWA First Fridays - which is an immersive, family-friendly affair involving artists who open their studio doors to the public, showcasing their goods, galleries and exhibitions.

Shop small all weekend at 450 Harrison Avenue December 6-8.  The SoWA Winter Festival is free and exemplifies the best of the SoWa Art + Design District.  What better way to spend the first full weekend in December?  Get an early start on the holiday shopping in one of Boston’s most beloved neighborhoods.  Support the artisans who make the South End and SoWa District such a unique part of Boston’s cultural tapestry.  The SoWa Winter Festival is back, a sure sign that the holidays have arrived!
