Revere Beach, Revere 

Just a few miles north of Boston, Revere Beach holds great historic value as the first public beach in the United States. Today it’s a great place to enjoy the summer weather and a host to many events like, their annual International Sand Sculpting Festival, Kite Festival, Pumpkin Dash and more!  

 

Constitution Beach, East Boston​

Located in Orient Heights, East Boston Constitution Beach is a sandy beach with athletic fields and amenities as well as a great view of planes in and out of Logan and ships on their journeys to and from Boston Harbor.  

 

Carson Beach, L Street Beach, M Street Beach, South Boston/Dorchester 

Along the South Boston Shoreline sits multiple beaches. Carson Beach, L Street and M Street beach connect to form a long stretch of sandy beach and includes plenty of amenities including a bathhouse. This beach is easy to get to, making it a hot spot in the summer. Take a walk to Castle Island and visit Sullivan’s for an afternoon snack.  

 

Spectacle Island, Boston Harbor Islands State Park 

Spectacle Island offers a beautiful view of Boston Harbor, from just 4 miles offshore of downtown Boston. It is easily accessible via ferry and is a lifeguarded beach. A great place to enjoy swimming, taking a stroll, hiking or just taking in the view. 

 

Winthrop Beach, North Shore  

Winthrop beach sits in Suffolk County and is a popular beach, open to the public year-round. The beach is lifeguarded from late June to early September and is a great spot for swimming, in usually calm waters.
