This spring, Beat Brasserie, located in the buzzing heart of Cambridge's Harvard Square, is expanding its bounty of offerings and opening its doors for lunch. Already a hotspot for brunch, dinner and live music, starting Wednesday, June 1st, 2016, patrons of Beat Brasserie will be able to enjoy mid-day fare every Monday-Friday from 11AM-3PM.
Lunch-goers can start their meal off tasty appetizers like the Hummus Plate with fava beans, chickpeas, olives and pita ($11), Blistered Shishito Peppers with lemon and sea salt ($9) or Buffalo Cauliflower with a blue cheese yogurt dipping sauce ($12). Entrée elections range from Eggs Shakshuka made with poached eggs, North African tomato sauce, peppers and polenta ($14.50), to Fried Chicken with potato salad, hot sauce and slaw ($18), Slow Roast Pork Tacos filled with queso blanco, cheddar, slaw and salsa ($17) and the delicious Prime Natural Beef Hamburger with port wine aioli, crispy fried onions and frites ($16).
Beat will also be serving their famed Earthly Delight Bowls-all natural grain bowls served with a variety of ingredients and toppings. Dinnertime favorites making an appearance on the lunch menu include the Bowl Azteca, adobo-spiced quinoa, tomatillo salsa, fresh corn, squash, green beans, avocado and spinach ($14.50) and the Gratitude Bowl with asparagus, turnips, carrots, pumpkin seeds, mushroom gravy and multi grain organic brown rice pilaf ($15). New, lunch-exclusive bowls will also be offered including the Greek Bowl, couscous, Greek kale salad, tomato, cucumber, olives and yogurt tzatziki ($14.50), the Baby Blue Bowl with baby spinach, iceberg, bacon, avocado and topped with blue cheese vinaigrette ($14.50), and the Simply Salad Bowl filled with asparagus, favas, squash, turnips, carrots, pumpkin seeds, mushroom gravy and multi grain organic brown rice ($12.50). Guests also can choose to add Norwegian Salmon, Hamburger, Braised Beef Short Rib, Blackbean & Quinoa Cake or Braised Mexican Pork to their delicious bowl.
For a mid-day pick-me-up guests can enjoy a glass of wine from the Beat's state-of-the-art wine tap system where many of the 36 wines have been crafted exclusively for Beat by the nation's premier small batch winemakers. The full bar will also be serving signature cocktails such as the Honey Crisp with Domaine Chandon Brut, apple brandy, apple cider and burlesque bitters ($13.50), Something Natural Cilantro with Hanson Cucumber Vodka and Lime ($12), and the all new Cactus Flower Punch Bowl made with Milagro tequila, ginger, lemon and agave, perfect for groups of four ($45), six ($65) and eight ($85).
Beat Brasserie's lunch service will be offered every Monday-Friday from 11:00AM-3:00PM and is available in the dining room and on the patio (weather permitting).
