Black Art Jazz Collective (BAJC) is a collaborative ensemble comprised of jazz's finest rising and established stars. Each member is a leader in his own right and has also been an integral part of groups led by pioneers including Tom Harrell, Bobby Hutcherson, Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter, Louis Hayes, Freddie Hubbard, and many more. In 2016, the BAJC released an outstanding debut album, establishing themselves as a significant new group that has earned some high expectations. The Collective performs fiery, expert post-bop originals dedicated to African American icons.
