Competition Winner World Premiere Overture Handel (at age 25) Apollo e Dafne Mozart (at age 11) Apollo and Hyacinth Works by three young composers. Apollo--god of music-- inspires Handel and Mozart at the height of their youthful creativity. The concert features sopranos Susan Consoli and Margot Rood, tenor William Hite, and baritone Dana Whiteside. Also, hear a world premiere by the winner of our Handel Overture Competition. The Orchestra and Soloists of Emmanuel Music Ryan Turner conducting.
