Back by popular demand, Sustainable Business Network's Local Craft Spirits Festival is Boston’s premier spirits festival focusing on New England craft distilleries and brews. The festival is back in Central Square, Cambridge on October 12, 2018, 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm (6:00 pm VIP) at the Landsdowne Quad, 38 Sidney Street, University Park at MIT. In this intimate outdoor environment, guests will sample New England’s best artisan beverages from more than 25 craft spirits-makers, cider-makers, and craft brew-makers, offering an expansive variety of locally crafted cider, gin, vodka, rum, bourbon, whiskey, bitters and beer and more. There will also be lots of unique and interesting artisan beverages too. The event is presented in collaboration with the Massachusetts Distillers Alliance, Central Square Business Association, Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources, and with support form Forest City.
Local restaurants will offer delicious and creative presentations of local food for sale for $6 or less per serving. Tricks of the trade will be taught by our cocktail gurus offering Cocktail Demos. Watch the pros during the Local Craft Cocktail Throwdown where distillers and their Mixologists vie for bragging rights for Boston’s best Local Craft Cocktail and help choose Boston’s best local craft cocktail. Guests can have their faces painted by Angela of Painting as Art & Ritual to get them into the spirit of the event while they capture memorable moments in our photo booth. Live music and our DJ will keep the audience entertained throughout the evening, or patrons can chill out with fun games and our photo booth.
Participants will receive plenty of tasting tickets to try cocktails and alcoholic beverage products. Non-alcoholic beverages are unlimited tastings.
