Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), launches Monet and Boston: Lasting Impression online with an enhanced exhibition web page featuring curator talks, an artwork slideshow, downloadable Zoom meeting backgrounds, and a Spotify playlist curated by songwriter and musician Barrie, including one of the artist's songs inspired by Monet.

Monet and Boston: Lasting Impression brings together 35 of the MFA's Claude Monet paintings—among the largest holdings of the artist’s work outside France—for the first time in a generation in honor of the Museum's 150th anniversary in 2020. The exhibition highlights the City of Boston's and the MFA's deep connection to the artist. Boston was a center for the collecting and appreciation of Monet's works even during his lifetime through the generosity and forward vision of local collectors.
