Now in its 20th year, the Annual Celebration of Craft promotes the appreciation of fine craftsmanship and supports the School’s mission to train students for careers in traditional trades. Over the course of two months, NBSS will display exquisite work from our extended community, as well as host several signature events at the School.

The Student & Alumni Exhibit showcases the masterful work of our community. On display May 1 through June 29, the exhibit showcases the talents of NBSS artisans while promoting traditional trades across a variety of craft disciplines. Heirloom-quality furniture, designer handmade jewelry, fine bookbinding, and more will all be available to view and purchase throughout the run of the exhibit.

Exhibit Events:

Lecture: Classical Proportions in 18th Century American Furniture Design
Up Close I: Violin Making
The Hancock Mansion Project: Preserving History & Heritage
Up Close II: Books and Furniture
