Learn about the construction of kaleidoscopes and their mirror systems and types. Understanding how kaleidoscopes are made will increase your knowledge of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) and encourage investigation into inventions of the past. Specifically, we will explore connection between the Boston Lighthouse and the kaleidoscope. Since the number of patterns each scope can produce is almost infinite, each viewing moment is a once-in-a-lifetime experience; unique, fascinating, and educational. The sculptures are adjustable for all heights, including children and those in wheelchairs.

The rain date for this event will be April 28.
