Talking About Slavery at Historic Sites and Museums Old South Meeting House

Listen in on a dynamic conversation, as museum educators from Boston's Freedom Trail, Black Heritage Trail, and more share their strategies for teaching students and other visitors about slavery. Participants will include educators from Old South Meeting House, the Paul Revere House, the Museum of African American History, and the National Park Service, as well as graduate students in education and history from BU and Northeastern University. The evening's conversation will be moderated by Dr. Martin Blatt, director of Northeastern University's Public History Program. Bring your questions, ideas, and curiosity, and learn from a panel of experts about the challenges and rewards of engaging the public in conversations about slavery in Boston and New England.
