The traditional start of summer will welcome Massachusetts sculptor Dale Rogers and his whimsical art exhibit, The Big Dog Show, consisting of twenty 8’ high by 10’ long steel sculptures on display from June 21 to September 10. The big dog sculptures will be installed throughout the Navy Yard in Shipyard Park, Boston National Historical Park, and the Harbor Walk.
The exhibit is hosted by the Navy Yard Garden Association in partnership with the Boston Planning and Development Agency, Boston National Historical Park, and National Park Service. A growing list of sponsors includes Bark Around Boston, Boston Harbor Cruises, Boston Dermatology and Laser Center, Crate Escape, Cut-Splice, D.C. Shipyard Park is bordered by the four streets: First Avenue, Eighth Street, Flagship Way Avenue and Terry Ring.
