The Enemy, a groundbreaking virtual reality experience by acclaimed photojournalist Karim Ben Khelifa makes its North American debut at the MIT Museum on October 5.
The Enemy immerses participants in discussions of war and humanity by using pioneering VR technology to present combatants on opposite sides of conflicts in Israel and Palestine, the Congo, and El Salvador. In their own words, each will offer personal perspectives on suffering, freedom, and thoughts on the future. Innovative technology developed at MIT will shape and adapt the experience to each visitor, drawing on answers given in a preliminary survey.
The Enemy will be open daily, as well as three Friday evenings, and will be specially ticketed with start times every 15 minutes for up to five participants. Pre-registration is now open and strongly encouraged.
The Enemy is open daily October 5 through December 31 - except November 4
