Quincy’s proud shipbuilding history comes to life aboard this Cold War-era heavy cruiser. Berthed at her home port, the former Fore River Shipyard, the USS Salem also serves as home to the “Kilroy Was Here” catchphrase and the United States Naval Shipbuilding Museum.
The USS Salem will be open for self guided outdoor and indoor tours only. Visitors are required to wear masks and gloves. Online ticket purchase preferred per state guidance issued for outdoor historical attractions. The USS Salem and USNSM have completed our COVID-19 Control Plan and are in compliance with Mandatory Safety Standards.
Our last ticket of the day is sold one hour prior to closing.
Groups of ten or more are asked to call and schedule so that we may best serve your group. Both self-guided and guided tours are available. Guided tours subject to tour guide availability.
