Boston loves to host BIG events!

Each year Boston is host to many special events - there's truly something for everyone, whether you are a sports enthusiast, patriotic reveler, history buff, or a gastronomic foodie.

There’s no better way to usher in the New Year than doing so with First Night/First Day - a Boston tradition for over 40 years! The party begins with the People’s Procession with ice sculptures, light displays, arts and musical performances, fireworks, and the "Copley Countdown" light show and pyrotechnics in Copley Square. The fun continues on January 1 with special family events from 11am - 2pm.
