Boston is always out and always welcoming, and you’re invited to celebrate Boston’s 49th annual Boston Pride Week from May 31 – June 9. A weeklong festival bringing people together, stirring the mind, shaking up the dance floor, creating safe spaces, and fostering inclusivity, equality, respect and awareness.
Pride Week hosts over 30 events from Family Movie, Paint and Comedy Nights to Lectures & Discussions, and the Flagship Flag Raising, Parade, Concert and Festival at Faneuil Hall Marketplace and City Hall Plaza.
2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. The Stonewall Riots took place in New York’s Greenwich Village from June 28—July 1, 1969, and mark a turning point toward equality.
